Does the '18 model have a exhaust brake? I thought I heard the 2018's are using the turbo to create back pressure. The way mine drives I'm guessing no.
Nope it’s a software option on a tune such as GDE or PPEI. Mine works great as I tow in the mountains and it’s very reassuring and useful. BTW between exhaust brake the factory transmission brake and the TBC trailer brake controller my original brakes went 293,000.
