In the older 2nd gen Cummins when the IAT read under 143* the timing changed as well as the injection (not sure if it was pulse, rate or duration) That was a major contribution to decreased MPG in the winter time. Does anyone know if our timing and injection is changed as well? To fool the computer on the Cummins you used switch with resistors to change the iat temp. I’d love to up my winter mileage If I could since that’s when I do my most driving. Coming up on 3500 miles in the last week and half.
