Egr turns off for duration of regen?

Hi ya all.
Just curious if anyone else has made this observation? I just recently got a bluedriver and as soon as regen starts egr position goes to zero

That is correct and normal. You need a certain oxygen content in the exhaust during a regen to effectively burn the soot. EGR will mess that up something fierce.
