I am a gasoline auto tech for 30+ years, not specialized on any particular vehicles. I am a prior service member of the "US. ARMY and NATIONAL GUARDS MEN", I've worked and trained in proficiency on diesel engines on some of the army's oldest and most of the newest fleets for approximately 5 years.
I am presently a freelance and mobile mechanic around my city. One of my customer owned a 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 eco diesel and have recently forgot to turn the ignition key off after listening to the radio, which drained the battery down and now even if I jumped start the battery the engine cranks but won't run.There's no fuel pumping to the injectors, the gauge shows 1/2 tank of fuel.
Did that issue brought the ECM/BCM into a "SAFE MODE" that is preventing the engine from running, and how to reset the system?
