Failure to shift into reverse

My 2018 ecodiesel has about 2200 miles on it. Recently, it would not shift into reverse. The knob turned but the trans did not respond...it was in neutral. I moved the selector to d and it went into gear. Back to reverse and nothing. I shut it off and restarted and it worked fine. Anyone have this issue? Thanks!
