I have a '02 Chevrolet Suburban. It's been a great vehicle for over 200,000 miles. I have towed with it and it could use more power. I only gets 15 mph at best and 10 towing a smallish trailer. It's big enough to sleep in, in short it's been very reliable and a great vehicle. Having sung the praises of my Suburban, it's time to send it down the road. The paint is shot, the sunroof (I'll never have another) leaks, the seats are wearing out, it's just wearing out all over.
I just bought a new Rockwood Mini-lite travel trailer (yet to be delivered) and I think I'm going to replace my tow vehicle. The trailer is around 7000 lbs and that seems to be well within the towing ability of the Ram Ecodiesel. So I'm shopping for the right price and Model. I'll let you all know how it works out and thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience.

You will need a good WDH and do your research setting it up. I have a Rockwood Ultralite and the advertised hitch weight is not anywhere near accurate. Your RAMs payload is probably not as much as you think.
