Long post warning,
So I’ve had the truck for almost a year now, I drive 50-100 miles everyday and truck is running a lot cause of my job.
Just this last week all of a sudden after running for 3 hours and turning it off, I get back in and try to start it wouldn’t start. Lights come on, everything works fine but it won’t start, not even a crank. (I have a new battery) no fuses blew, jumping it didn’t work. Only thing that worked was fully disconnected the battery and waiting 15-20 min and it started up like nothing happened. Worked good for the next day and then bam did it again. Same fix as last time.
Any ideas what it could be, I’m thinking starter gets too hot and something is hanging up in it and when it cools it works again.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
