How do I reset a CEL?

2015 Ecodiesel 1500. Getting fuel the other day and my CEL went on. Got it read, P203E DEF level sensor erratic. Topped off DEF, level went up but CEL still on. Tried disconnecting Neg battery terminal, light still on. I haven’t yet driven it so I’m hoping it’ll reset after it cycles. Any other thoughts or recommendations?

Follow up... I disconnected the NEG battery terminal for an hour and then drove 80 miles and the CEL turned off.
