Got a 2017 Dodge Ram eco diesel just hit 50k miles. Every once in a while while decelerating or breaking will get a short brief knocking noise almost like a j break or ak-47 sometimes faint and sometime very noticeable. Anyone else experienced this?

I have noticed that there seems to be a engine braking force that occurs when moderate deceleration is applied ( not including the light brake pedal force applied). It almost feels like a engine brake device, but I am not aware of that option on ECO. Please anyone, let me know if there is some action like this occurring. If so, then that device maybe sticky in your truck ??
