Message indicator popped up tonight

Do I check that like I would normally check for a problem ? It's just a white box that looks like a text message from a cell phone. Its located near the check engine light.

Its flashes real quick " change oil" the goes off. But wondering how well of an oil change used dealer did? Maybe that's why it shows that? Plugged in and no problems detected on the system but again who knows dealer might have cleared them all if they were there. I'll keep a close eye. As to what the text message envelope is for ?

Have you scrolled to the "messages" menu? I'm guessing there is a message in there telling you to change the oil and maybe the dealer didn't reset it when he changed the oil. You can reset it yourself.
