This is an excerpt from a write up about the new 2019 Ram. Does anyone know if these new shock absorbers from the 2019 are backwards compatible to my 2015? They sound like they would give a better ride than my stock shocks.
Finally, Ram will use a brand-new shock absorber on all trim levels except Rebel, which gets a newly tuned Bilstein setup. The new shock absorber allows for an extra internal bypass that can be firm at higher speeds and smoother when slower inputs are sensed. The result, we're told, is more comfort and control, no matter what the speed or conditions.
