I can’t say much about the 3rd gen engines. I haven’t worked on them yet. Been out of work due to a broken ankle. I can say don’t use them as grocery getters. I have a 2018 eco with 82k on it and the only problem I have had is an ext temp sensor that quite working. Mine has been a great trick

That’s good to know. I normally pulling a trailer of some kind with it. I use my work car for short trips. I’m normally pulling 2k-4K with it. I have been happy with it so far.
