P2002 Code on 2018 Jeep GC 3.0 EcoDiesel

I have a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0 EcoDiesel with 20K miles and due for a smog check. Check Engine Light with P2002 code is present. I want to do a forced Regen and clear the code before the smog check. Question...will AlfaOBD work with my 2018 Jeep GC? Do I need a security module or cable bypass? Thanks for any information or recommendations.
