SFT Tune and DPF Delete - Limp mode when engine is cold?

I recently got the SFT Stage 2 tune and installed a DPF delete pipe for a Jeep Ecodiesel. Now the it's in limp mode, topping out at about 7mph. When the engine warms up however, it seems to run fine. Contacting SFT they just told me:

You need to remove the 4 sensors from the wiring harness that connect to the dpf and the 2 x scr modules from. The harness. Leave nothing connected, no wires cut and tucked (or you'll have problems)

You need the main turbo EGT probe (this is how the engine knows is own air to fuel ratio.

I disconnected all of the sensors that were installed into that section of pipe, and removed the two boxes that the sensors connected to in front of the driver's side rear wheel. What else needs to be done? I've contacted SFT for more details, but so far haven't heard anything more.

Thanks.

So following up, SFT sent me another tune to try and it's working great! I can't believe the difference with the Stage 2 tune.
