Just received the recall Wednesday, yesterday was heading to Wyoming to cut some Xmas trees, pulled off highway in Park City to get some food out of a cooler in bed of truck. As I was getting down from the bed I had one foot on bumper and one in bed of the truck. I shifted my weight as i sat on top of the tailgate and it opened with me straddling the tailgate. My shoulder was the 1st thing to impact the pavement, trip to ER resulted in a separated shoulder and waiting to see an orthopedic Dr to see what else is screwed up. This recall is real, if you have young kids keep them away from the tailgate.
