This little oddity came up around the same time my 3-way heater valve kicked the bucket for the second time in a year. All of the 5v reference issues downstream of that string on the harness went bonkers, but the fix wasn't too awful since I did it before. What is driving me a little batty though is this new gremlin on take-off.
Usually if I toe the accelerator in normal driving conditions, once in a blue moon I will think "Hmm... it almost feels a little slower than usual." I usually dismiss it because this generally happens in moderate traffic, and maybe I'm just not really squeezing the throttle as much as I think. Then, every once in a while, out of the blue the engine will literally stumble for a split second as if someone shut everything off and back on for 1/10th of a second, the dash will say "Voltage Low" and the Electronic throttle and I think the DPF light (the yellow exhaust cloud light next to the throttle one) will light up, and then - everything goes back to normal, perfectly fine.
Literally a tenth of a second, but the stumble and "thump" feel like someone locked up all the brakes instantly in a blip. Usually this only happens once in the drive, and it doesn't happen every drive, or every day. For a little while, I thought it was the intake pipe coming off the intercooler that keeps slipping down the tube and creating a possible boost leak and freaking out the system, but the "Elbow" stops against the HPFP cover so the hose never actually comes off. I generally loosen the clamp, push it back forward the inch and a half or so, then tighten it back but I suspect the clamp is wore out and I'll be needing to double up on another one behind the original (are these 3" or 4"??)
Anyhow, just curious if any of you had the stumble thing on take off?
