I believe on another forum it was sad that the GDE compliant tune was non-transferable. If I was you, I would get a hold of Keith at GDE

Here is his response. Looks like I'll drop the price to 400. Whoever needs it will have about 700 in a 1200 tune.

Not a easy method, but possible. Did you flash the truck back to stock before trading? If so, then you can take the flash tool back to pc and connect with user console, let it run the updates, at main window select 'erase data' and start. This will wipe the tool memory and allow it to be used on a different vehicle. The transfer fee is $300.

Yeah, that’s what I gathered on another forum when somebody asked about the emission compliant to transfer. Sorry for your loss.

Of course, $300 is pretty reasonable to transfer the tune to another vehicle specially what the cost is to buy a new one

I believe that 300.00 is to transfer just the device. He said, "This will wipe the tool memory", which erases the tune as well.

I am thinking the 300 is for Keith to swap the vin information in the computer. I could be wrong.

Hard to say. He could have been more specific with what 300.00 covers and how he handles a transfer.
