    You don't need a diesel mechanic for this work. The tone ring and CPS have nothing to do with it being a diesel. Just try a good transmission shop!

    I doubt whether any warranty or recall work will be done on a deleted truck. Take it to a transmission shop as they will have experience pulling the tranny that is required to access the tone ring and CPS.

    Talk to EcoDieselCanada for a tried and true thorough kit. You could consider a tune from Green Diesel Engineering also. Be very careful because it is very difficult to unscramble an egg. There are many "tuners" out there but only a few reputable ones.

    Your question can only be answered by your tuner really... It depends on what functions and sensors they turned off. If you're deleting and tuning your EGR, DPF, and SCR, you may still need an EGT1 sensor. While deleting these components is common for performance gains, you might need the...

    I personally have never heard of that tune or tuner but others may chime in. The only 2 tunes that I hear of that get consistently good long term reviews appear to be Green Diesel Engineering (emissions intact) and Eco Diesel Canada (offers a variety of tunes)
