How hard is it to replace the glow plugs? I have the message and need to replace and want to do it before Winter, when they are really needed. I purchased some serious penetrating oil spray... I plan to park the truck, spray the tops of the insert/threads.... and let sit for a couple days...
Thanks for the reply... I'm at 160K on the truck and maybe it is time for new glowplugs all around.... What is the general opinion on how long they last?
This occurred with my 2014 two days ago. I am not in a place where I can stop driving the truck and am hoping I am not damaging anything. Despite the Glow Plug and Check Engine lights, the truck is running perfectly.
So is the general consensus that this is a Module problem or a wiring...
