Ok so I've said it before. I'm new to diesel.
My question is what are normal noises?
When the motor is under stress, ie : towing trailer up hill at slow speeds,
seems like alot of clacking and knocking going on.
My '15 has the 3.92 rear 34 " tire and front end level and 4x4. I do probably a 60/40 mix of highway and city. I average 22mpg.
I have found that I get different milage depending on the fuel company. I get like 2 mpg more with Exxon. Go figure

Ok so like I said before I'm new to diesel. What I'm reading is you're getting fuel in the crankcase causing these catastrophic failures
My question is are you supposed to get fuel in there and if so what is the acceptable amount.
I've had my truck for three weeks. Checked the oil yesterday...
So this being my first diesel motor what should I know.
Do I need additives? Is there anything I should be doing between scheduled services?
I've read a lot of the negative posts and want to avoid adding to them
I started read the forum and I have to say all the negatives have me a little worried. I know several people who have the Eco d and love them so I bought based on their good experience. So hopefully mine will be as good.
Hey. I'm new to the forum and to the ecodiesel world.
I picked up a used 2015 ram bighorn. I've had it about 2 weeks now and so far lovin it.
The truck has 17000. Miles on it. Pretty much new condition.
Any advise for a first time diesel owner would be much appreciated
