So what's the deal with inspection in NJ? Are we exempt? The way I read it was we have to inspect but my buddy says no. I'm confused

Hopefully some NJ folks will chime in here. It's different state to state. Luckily in TN, I live in a county where inspections aren't required. Although I'm not deleted it's nice knowing on this truck it's fine if I ever went that route.

My ecodiesel doesn't need to be inspected in NJ until 2021. So, when I took my wife's car for inspection, I asked them what do they do for a diesel car or lightweight truck under 8500 lbs? They told me I should bring it in the when the inspection sticker is due but I still have no idea if they actually check it on the emissions computer.

I'm curious of anyone's experience in NJ, too.
