Yeah. I was thinking I read in the manual, or the guys at the shop told me there wasn't any reason to heat the DEF. That the only think you needed to make sure of was not to fill it full. Because then your looking at a tank bust upon freezing.
Hey guys. Supposed to get down in the low 20s this wkd in southern Indiana. I just put my cover on they sent me. Make sure if you install this, the side tabs have to slide in behind grill, and in between headlights. Lower tabs just slide in between grill and bumper. Then place hooks over top shroud.
I live in southern Indiana. And received one of these covers in the mail today. I didn't even know it was coming. I saw a post somewhere, where someone was surprised they needed it in Missouri. The info that came with it said any consistent weather below 30° needs to have the cover on to keep...
I work for Cummins. I have seen all parts before assembly. I don't know if the gears are from same supplier, or if they have same procedures for making parts. But the crank, cam, and fuel pump gears are heat treated. Many times we would see parts come in different shades of colors from the...
The salesman told me he would probably do a couple. The dealership owner only offered one. I got more value out of oil changes, and things don't always go as we would like them to go. I may fall in love with my truck all over again before warranty is up. And that would make the Challenger a bit...
Not you again Shawn, I hope you've had breakfast! Lol, jk. Thx. He even made it sound that if I had problems after the oil changes came out, or after my warranty was up he would take care of it. But I also planted a bug in their ear that now that I have had that issue, and don't trust my truck...
For my problems and truck being gone so long the dealership offered to make a truck payment for me. I negotiated oil changes instead. I told him I was in fear of something happening to my truck after having the bad oil change, and a mechanic fixing Mt truck that has never touched the ED, and...
This last week I didn't have my truck was because the mechanic lost some O ring gaskets, and what not. And had to wait for new ones to finish assembly.
Hungry KC masterpiece. Lol
52 days.. I finally got my truck back! It was gone so long the kids. 14, and 10. Forgot what it looked like. I meet with them next Monday to settle my inconvenience, and make sure I return as a customer.
Update: Fuel lines came in last Monday, or Tuesday. Still no call to pick up. I go check on it this morning. Mechanic admits to me that he lost 2 O ring gaskets, had to order new ones last Friday. Here we are, waiting on freaking parts. Oh, and I say I'm running out of patience, I can't wait to...
Update: I stopped by dealer to check if fuel lines had made it yet. They just did Tuesday morning. It's more than a couple of lines.. looks to be around 8 lines. My truck looks like a hot mess. So I'm like, now you got the lines it will be a couple days right.. he evaded the question, and said...
Update: Any time the fuel lines are removed from the injectors they have to be replaced per Chrysler. I was told fuel lines would be in last Tuesday, truck done Wednesday or Thursday. Stopped in today to check on it. The fuel lines are a back order item.. So they still may or may not show up at...
No update. Still burning gas. Was supposed to get it back yesterday or today.. no word as yet. I have their loaner for 1900 miles, and 53 hours run time.
