    Get a tune. MRTuning is very good. I’ve run several tunes and I like MRTuning best. Also recommend their trans tune. EGR causes the lag. Try unplugging the EGR and see the difference.     Consider getting an oil analysis to be sure they put in 5w40 diesel oil. I worry that these places see V6 and put in 5w20.
