Howdy? Has anyone received compensation from FCA due to the emissions issue?

I was the 2nd owner through a title transfer. Farmer's ended up with the title.

Howdy? Has anyone received compensation from FCA due to the emissions issue?

Hello, I sent my paperwork in last spring. I got and email a couple of months later from FCA asking me to do it online so it will be quicker, stating they had a 3 month backlog of mail requests. I did, and they said I was entitled to $990 since I don't own the truck anymore. I bought it with...

    Might by an Eco tomorrow

I owned a 2016 Laramie EcoDiesel, loved it. Totaled it in Dec. Now I'm looking at a 2017 Limited. The dealer says there is a $1000 Owner Loyalty Coupon that I can get but he can't give it to me. Does anybody know where I can come by one? Thanks, Mike

    Would You Buy Again?

WOW!! You're right about the Ram stock on the lot. I found 2 at what looks to be excellent pricing. Out the door is just over $43K on either one. Thanks again for the heads up on this dealer. Just exactly what I'm after. I have to fly from Seattle to Sacramento and drive back but at this...

    Would You Buy Again?

Hi Everybody, I recently totaled my 2016 Laramie EcoDiesel. I've read a lot of alarming posts about this engine over the last 6-8 months on here. My question is would you buy a 2017/18 if you had a chance? Is Chrysler still going to use this engine in the future? I loved my truck! By the...

    ETC failure

That was my next question too. Thanks, you guy's are quick on here. I'm assuming GDE would be legal in the Seattle, WA area too being CA has the strictest emissions laws. Do you have to have a diesel mechanic do it? How hard is it? Thanks again, Mike

    Engine oil Bypass filter

I have the same truck as you, 2016 Limited EcoDiesel. I bought it used 6 months ago with 11K miles. The ex-owner was a mechanic and probably knew about the potential problems to come. It now has 13K+ on it. It's had 2 oil/filter changes so far. The ex-owner put Pennzoil Platinum EURO L full...

    New to diesel

Thanks GearHead, I too am new to everyday diesel driving (2016 Laramie, 12K miles). You say to add a diesel oil stabilizer at oil changes but why do you only add a diesel fuel additive at the oil change. Shouldn't it be used more often that the oil additive? Great Info post here, Thanks, Mike
