If yours is like mine, I would think a pipe wrench would pop it loose. Mine was in the glove box with the rest of the spare lug nuts they replaced. Depending on your trim level, the key could be under back seat or under the rear floor mats in the storage cubby’s.
Take a look at the large plug under drivers side on the inside of the frame rail. They’re a weak spot for poor connections. Pull apart and dielectric grease it
I called 2/3 dealers for pricing and was suprised at cost differences. One sold a bundle while another sold individually priced items. Deff no consistency in pricing. But a lot of guys run aftermarket controllers and rant and rave over it. Anything is bettter than nothing!!!
He’s having issues with them not coming on and starting rough, not nessasarily an indicator issue. seems like it’s a glitch in the tune or the module is on the fritz
I never had a problem with the glow plugs firing but I do have the hiccup issue occasionally. Mostly if I don’t give it more than a 5 minute warmup it’ll do it when I’m boosting up the driveway hill or shortly after pulling out of the driveway under boost. Not sure if it’s an overboost situation...
Did you have it plugged in? I’m unaware as mine is a 2014 and I have refused to visit the dealer as it typically leaves worse than when I brought it in. They may be able to do an ecm/pcm reflash if there’s an issue. Yours has a security gateway module so you can check codes but not clear them...
