Nope, the steering system on this truck is great, no issues. And if you didn't know, because it's so smooth, it's electric system. First vehicle that I have drove with this type of a system. Love it.
Not sure how it would react to a flat tire, but so far no issues.
I Agee, using a CS or CTS gauge, you can see your soot levels and when you go into a regen.
I like that part. And the GDE tune, can put this information on your EVIC . That would be nice.
I have done the same thing a time or two. I get caught coming a big city, and the CTS starts flashing letting know I am about to go a regen mode. I will drive in lower gears to bring up the RMP, around 1800 or so, and complete the regen driving through Raleigh. I Also have been in the parking...
I have. the 3.95 axle, when towing, I always use the tow haul, keeping the truck out of 8 gear.
I have.also used the tow haul switch in heavy city driving to keep the trans from shifting so much.
No problems, even carrying 1,000 lbs loads in the bed.
There are two over drives, 7 & 8.
So far...
I have the CTS monitor, and I put in the corner of the windshield. Ran my cord down door molding.
No issues, works well.
I like knowing what going on with the regen cycle.
Yes I would like to dump the EGR system, get the regen program on the dash panel, and better pick on the throttle.
Gaining a few MPG would always be we com too.
Hello, new to this site, coming up on a one year owner, Eco diesel, Big Horn package,
Looking to learn more about servicing and upgrades that I can do. So far running great. Real happy with this truck, getting great mileage so far. Sure enjoyed having the 4 wheel drive last winter.
