    Winter MPGs.

Well yes and no to the greater warmup time. Diesel's hardly generate heat at idle. Winter fronts help significantly. I average out about 22 in the summer, maybe 19 in winter but I've got young children so I idle more heating up the cab than some people. And I'm at the Canadian Border in...

Even with the air suspension in entry/exit mode which is how it was when I took those clearance pictures. Normal height is plenty more room

    Finally Some New Shoes.

Tires showed up this afternoon, me being all giddy skipped out of Work and bumped up my appointment at the Tire Shop to today. 275/65/20 cooper STT Pro. factory 20x9" longhorn rim. Factory 4 corner air. Hypertech speed calibrator (oddly set at 33.0" though the factory setting was off and is...

    Key fob issues

Well what is your driving nature and commuting? Is the ecodiesel truly fitting for you or would you be happy in a gasser? I guess whatever incentives from the dealer could sway me one way or another. But then again 20k miles a year and expecting the longevity of a diesel plus the MPG return...

New to site, just bought a new 2016 Tradesman 4x4

Oil change, fuel Filters, differentials, it's all very easy maintenance. Transfer case is a little tricky and the transmission is sensitive. And expensive. But supposed to be one of those lifetime deals aside from verifying fluid levels.

Any answer for the rest of his electrical nightmare?

    Key fob issues

Are you referring to the RF module now or the Body control module after reading over his electrical nightmare introduction?

    Key fob issues

Yeah lol nobody getting 1700hp off this engine. @TC Diesel look at @stormcom introduction and see that there are serious electrical issues beyond the key fob which is why I point my finger at the control module

My HID's are fantastic. Enlight made a real quality system. There is only one downfall. It is a harness powered system and that means there's a signal from the drivers side headlamp to switch on the relay and in turn both Headlamps. Well when a deer tried to hurdle my Hood and wiped out my...

Only for the DIYers. Back to the matter at hand here; I think pushing for a new brain box would be the best option now

One other thing, I think the MPG hit comes more from the pcm flash for the transmission Shift points and higher rpm cruise requirements than it does from the oil viscosity. If not more than at least equal parts

I'm wondering what Pennzoil is going to do with their euro crap? They must have tens of thousands of gallons of the stuff in storage and now no USA market!!! Uh oh!!!

    What about Volkswagen?

That second reason is a rather fitting thought. There's no way 5w40 hasn't effected our mileage and that means all new EPA numbers. It also means that just like Chevy did they have to make a settlement with every single ecodiesel owner for the dropped figures just as Chevy had to do last year...

    Key fob issues

That's awful. I have 36k on my 15' longhorn and I've never had such issues. Nav works fine when I use it. Never reset uConnect. I'm thinking your truck has a bad Body control module. Shorting the GPS, and entertainment system. And sensor key issues. It sounds rather fitting. If it was just the...

New to site, just bought a new 2016 Tradesman 4x4

Absolutely a fair decision. As long as you have room for a full size truck at home this ram ecodiesel is a winning combination. Fuel mileage comparable to nearly any midsize v6 sedan but truck capabilities, clearance, and visibility. It's a great combination for those that have always wanted a...

Or can they only afford to Warranty 6 batteries? Sorry but it's pretty ridiculous on a $60,000 truck

This happens with both of your key fobs? Have they warrantied and replaced a fob yet?
