EcoDiesel Service Electronic Throttle, need help with codes

If it the swirl valve motor that's the issue, it is fastened to the bottom of the intake. The wiring connector for it is right behind the water pump.

2015 ram EcoDiesel dumping the oil out as fast as it can go in between motor and transmission

If it is the plug on the drivers side attached to the top of the oil pan, it is the crankshaft position sensor wire. The turbo oil drain line is pressed into a rubber grommet and the pressure line is a banjo bolt next to it just above the transmission

Second engine and still the same scenario

I'm in Wisconsin and there isn't enough airline antifreeze out there to keep it from freezing up when it gets cold enough. She drove it all 4 corners down and even. One side up 🤣. The fuse for it that it blows too isn't the cheapest one out there either. Now it's just a beep and a brief service...

Second engine and still the same scenario

I had wondered if the air suspension was better for heavier towing. The 16 I bought for my wife had factory air ride but just deleted it. Bless her heart, she drove it a few times this winter with froze deflated suspension. Wasn't a comfy ride either when it did work. Found out both rear bags...

Second engine and still the same scenario

I bought 2.5" tubing and silicone elbows to redo the hot side charge pipe. With both ends on the intercooler and turbo not being true SAE sizes, I can't clamp them tight enough and it starts seeping air over 25 psi of boost . My 04 hemi 1500 pulls my camper 100 times better than these coil...

Second engine and still the same scenario

Not a bad idea at all. Ive had it in for the pump recall and the dealer installed new injectors as wel. It's my daily driver and it's 70 miles round trip to work. It loves to run so easy at 65 to 70 and pull 25 mpg. Only issue I run into is when it pushes and holds over 30 # of boost it...

Second engine and still the same scenario

I have 3 ED a 15 with 300,000 miles. All stock never opened. Just change the oil. Bought a 14 with spun bearings and a cracked crankshaft with 158000 miles. Had to align bore the mains. Ended up with a crank out of a 21. Found out the "gen 3" ED were changed to fix some of the issues. The...

    New Ecodiesel Owner

Have to look too, the truck sits on top of coil springs not leaf spring like the good old days. Even tho it has the rear trackbar, to keep the rear end centered, they have rubber bushings to mount to the rear end and frame. I have a 15 with air bags in the coils and it is a nightmare over 45...

Random Low oil Pressure warning and Start/Stall issue

It'd be interesting to know too if the notorious TIPM has anything to do with that. It plays random havok on just about everything else when it decides to out. Mine killed my cruise control

    2015 ecodiesel 1500.

It's sad that's all the go for on insurance auctions. Go on Copart and IAA and see them sell all the time for 5 to 8k. Especially mechanical issued ones. Engines are super expensive and finding a crankshaft for one is nearly impossible that's not Chinese cast steel. My local Dodge dealer told me...

    No crank

Ordered and installed a remanned TIPM. No change. Took your advise, checked the alternator. It was junk. Barely rotated by hand. New alternator, hit the key and fired right up. Expensive learning curve for sure. Thanks

    No crank

I did check for rotation when I took the starter out and turned with a small screwdriver. Onto last resort now. I have a new TIPM coming. I know when they often fail, the sky's pretty much the limit for what they can make go wrong. Place out of Florida sells plug and play rebuilt ones with 2 yr...

    No crank

My 2014 Ecodiesel giving me yet another headache. Last week jumped in to go to work. Turned the key, everything powered up like normal. Went to start and made 3 clicks like the battery was low. Tried again and it made a single louder pop sound. Made the same noise about 6 weeks ago when the...

Coolant leak, trying to locate it

Easiest way to get an inspection camera in to see it might be to remove the water pump or maybe removing the passenger side fuel rail. It's under the intake runner for the head. Dorman makes a steel braided replacement around $110 or I've heard of cutting the old rubber hose portion off and...

2015 3.0L Head gasket likely needed and trade-in or otherwise not an option

Modern mass production. Factory can install 3 different thickness of head gaskets. Aftermarket ones are thickest March from factory. My crank was cracked so opted for a Chinese knockoff. Was in my price range. I.did not find undersized bearings for it but like the head gaskets, factory could...

2015 3.0L Head gasket likely needed and trade-in or otherwise not an option

Parts aren't too bad. Bought a lot off evil bay. Heads were just very carboned up. Glow plugs were the worst to remove. Absolute nightmare. Guides were great. Just a simple valve job
