Anyone else averaging 24mpg in the city and 34 on the highway?

So if been reading through a lot of older threads and I see many mention 24-27mpg on highway road trips. I have had my ram about 3 weeks now. I bought it used and it was tuned and deleted but I have no idea whos tune is on it as I bought it from a dealer who bought it at an auction. I am looking...

    Brand new 2021 engine replacement.

If it helps, it sounds like your engine had an issue from the get go and this is not a result of a component failure but rather a defect in that engine causing it to not break in correctly from the get go. There are people on this forum with over 300,000 miles on their ecodiesels. The important...

    Brand new 2021 engine replacement.

The hemis seem to have their fair share of lifter/cam failures from what ive seen as well.. I had a friend that fought with it and sold the truck out of frustration and the ram forums are full of threads on this. Its interesting that the diesel engine effects the insurance price? Is that just...

    2018 service/lack of knowledge problem

Ive seen mention of the throttle errors in other threads here as well as on other forums, sometimes accompanied by engine fires so not to make you panic, but it could be serious so hopefully they get it sorted out for you.

    New to the ecodiesel!

Yeah I've been reading that. But also that leaving the wifi versions plugged in drains more battery while the vehicles not running. Not an issue for most people im sure but something to be aware if if the vehicle sits for periods of time.

    New to the ecodiesel!

The range is due to it using wifi instead of bluetooth, the wifi adapters also have a faster read speed than bluetooth but they use a lot more power by comparison as well. When I bought my ELM clone 7-8 years ago other clones and copycats like obdlink werent even in business yet. ELM is the...

    New to the ecodiesel!

Does it have more functionality than the elm327 adapters? I used to just use it with torque pro but worked well with the alfaobd to program my new keys and I'm installing a lift and stepping up to 33" tires so ill be reprogramming the tire size with it.

can a new key fob be programmed without a trip with truck to the dealer?

just wanted to follow up I was able to program my 2 new keys today with no issues. All together including the $50 alfaobd cost it cost me $68 plus the diesel to drive over to the dealership for my pin number. I already owned the ELM227 bluetooth obd interface I bought years ago to use with...

    Is my truck lowered?

thanks for this, your truck in that pic still looks a couple inches taller than mine from the looks of it though. maybe its an illusion because my truck is longer I dont know. If I release the air from the bags in my rear springs I have 4" of space in my fenderwells above the 31" tires. Here is...

Am I right with my understanding of the gear ratios tire size

Thanks, I do understand the tires are slightly heavier but thats rolling weight too so im not expecting that to have too much effect especially since Theoretically the truck with 3.92 gear should have room for mpg improvement with lower RPMs from bigger tires. I guess I will just have to do it...
