I would say you can tune confidently with either tune you mentioned! GDE will be emissions compliant. EOC will shut off the EGR with no ill effects.

On my 2015 EcoDiesel, I noticed the same problem. I purchased a Pedal Commander and plugged it in. That solved the problem sufficiently for me.

Total agree with John on never purchasing on Facebook⬆️ You might look at GDE tuning as the Banks isn't a true tune either.
