    2021 Ecodiesel First Impressions

No worries! So far, I have about 3500 miles on it. No issues at all that I can think of. Of course, a little less responsive until warmed up, but only lag I've encountered would maybe be the occasional, slower than I would like, transmission response when down shifting. That's been the case...

    Gen 3 Block Heater Amp/Wattage

Does anyone know the amperage or wattage draw on the block heater? If so, could you give me the tech reference? Can't find it anywhere. Thanks!

Winter Blend MPG on GEN 3?

Anyone noticed/verified any mpg decrease in the Gen 3 engine with winter blend diesel? Seems like I've dropped a few mpg's. Haven't verified at the pump yet though. Thanks. Dave.

Who has a 2020 eco? Any issues yet?

I've had the 2021 for just over a month now. Approx 3k miles so far. LOVE It! The quietest, most comfortable truck I've owned. We'll see about reliability. I've always driven Ford.

    2021 Ecodiesel First Impressions

Mileage update. Just completed a 750+/- mile trip. First long trip on the interstate. 2/3 interstate at 78 mph. 1/3 secondary roads at 35-65 mph. Overall, 27.5 mpg. Road trips like a Cadillac! Still very happy.

    Updated 2021 MPG report

It was not easy to find info on the gen 3 engine when I was making my purchase decision. So here are my results so far on the gen 3, 2nd year engine. Order to delivery was 10 weeks. '21 Bighorn, Crew cab, 4x4, 3.21 gears, 33 gal tank. All stock. So far, 3 trips with no load. Elevation 3-5k'...

    2021 Ecodiesel First Impressions

Not so far, but honestly, I haven't driven it very hard. I have about 900 miles on it and so far, it's "snappier" than my '08 F150 with the 5.4L.

    Miles per gallon, MPG, Mileage

Just a quick update to yesterday's reply. Just did my first full tank of fuel since the original top-off after vehicle purchase. Added 31 gallons. Average MPG was 24.5. Guage and Hand Calculated matched exactly, to the tenth. Driving was mixture of city, mountain, and local interstate at 65...

    Tire Diameter Increase MPH Accuracy

Thanks! I did a little follow up and it seems FCA has made it pretty tough to DIY on the last couple model years. The dealer charges $120 for the "license" from FCA and $80 for the programming labor. Seems a bit of a racket to me but I guess when my truck and wheels all arrive, I'll get if...

    Tire Diameter Increase MPH Accuracy

When I increase the tire diameter by approx 1" from stock, the speedometer will be incorrect by almost 3%. Can the dealer correct for this via the OBD for me?
