Class Action Law Suits over High Pressure Fuel Pump

E46 recall is the HPFP. The full delete would just solve the overall issue with the soot buildup in the motor. I remedy the fuel pump with Hot Shots fuel additive for now.

Class Action Law Suits over High Pressure Fuel Pump

I purchased my used 2018 Ram Eco in 2022 with the E46 recall still in effect and the Hyundai dealer I purchased it from pulled a fast one on me and said the recall would be fixed if I just took it to the Ram dealer but they knew it was a no fix recall. I have an attorney on it now. Trying to get...

Sorry to hear it. I'm also on the E46 recall list (since I purchased it in 2022) and still no fix.

Thank you. Just might be worth it to give it a shot. Why not at this point. Appreciate the advice very much. Your kindness is a blessing in a world of assholes behind keyboards.

Class action lawsuit regarding Engine Replacement

Thanks for the reply. It's my daily driver also and I make sure to get it up to highway speeds weekly and do long daily trips with it. But I also do the M-F 15 minute commute to work with it. I add the Hot Shop fuel additive with every diesel gas fill up and double up on maintenance (oil change...

Class action lawsuit regarding Engine Replacement

My dealer rep on my last service (Crankshaft recall preformed and completed) called someone from Mopar in front of me and they said "They should be getting a letter in a few months"... that was last year. So, who knows? Thats why I'm on the fence. Recall has to be preformed at the dealer to...

Class action lawsuit regarding Engine Replacement

Well thats good to hear. All I seem to hear is horror stories on these trucks. Nothing has happened to my diesel so far. Thinking of trading it in since Dodge won't even do my recall thats years overdue (Z46 fuel pump). I'm just being proactive. Do run them stock? I have a 2018 and need to keep...

Class action lawsuit regarding Engine Replacement

Couldn't agree more. Why they can get away with this blows my mind. My Z46 recall is effecting my ability to get a good trade-in value also.

2018 Ram 1500 Laramie EcoDiesel died

Thats just not right Rusty. You need to share this story on all your social media channels/friends/local news and put RAM on blast. You have nothing to loose. I'm sorry this has happened to you. I purchased mine in 2022 (covid days) and test drove everything and fell in love with my EcoDiesel...

2018 Ram 1500 Laramie EcoDiesel died

Thanks for that PDF John. I've been to the Ram dealer and asked them to do the Z46 recall and they said I need to wait until they have the part. So far, they have just done the crankshaft software recall. I've owned this truck since 2022 and its now 2024. Wondering if I just bring this notice...

I'm new here; 2018 EcoDiesel owner

Purchased my 2018 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel back in Sept. 2022 used from a Hyundai dealer in Orange, CA. It had 66k miles on it and got it for 36k. I purchased it for me and my family to travel in and have fun. I did not do my research like an idiot and after purchasing the truck, thats when I started...
