I have a 2016 Big Horn crew and after the first flash it ran terrible. Hesitated so bad I was afraid to merge onto a highway. The second flash fixed that problem and it seems to be running fine now. My biggest complaint is the MPG I lost with the flashes. When I bought the truck new we loaded it...
It appears that several members are reluctant to have their trucks flashed. If this flash would bring the truck up to date with the newer trucks, why is this new flash is a bad thing?
I own a 2016 ED with the steel wheels, and am looking at a set of mag wheels off a 2017 Ram, and the 2017 wheels have the factory TPIs still in them. I'm assunming that the 2016 & 2017 wheels are interchangable, but I don't know if this will be a simple wheel change, or does something have to...
If FCA is required, by court order, to flash these trucks, wouldn't this flash be covered by warranty?
If I tell them I don't want them to flash the system, will they honor my request or will they still flash it?
If I take my truck to the dealer for service, will he automatically flash it without asking or telling me?
Is there a way of telling if they did flash it?
Hi John, I thought that tapping into the factory backup wiring would cause a problem with he CAN BUS, whatever that is.
I figured tapping into the 7 pin connector wiring would skirt that problem. I like the idea of welding tabs. I may do the same so as to try to keep the new lights as much out...
I have a 2016 and would like to add some LED back up lights to it. I was thinking of tapping into the trailer wiring to get the back up light wiring, to avoid adding relays. Has anybody added additional back up lights to their truck and if so, how did you do it.
