I replaced the hose with a silicone wrapped heater hose instead of the regular heater hose that was on there it’s like 8$ and worth going ahead and doing it while you have manifold off
I have 35 12.50 on stock wheels with 2.5” level kit, looking at xd badlands 20x9 -12 anyone running this ? No scrubbing with stock wheels but little nervous adding an inch width and with offset
I didn’t get a video of install, but I was too aggravated during The process. If you order Sasquatch parts egr delete there are very good instructions for egr delete. Do the egr delete first getting the egr lines and cooler out of the way free up a lot of space to work. Once thats all out of the...
I just put a brand new fully deleted engine in at 106000k miles and 10,000 later I have this same leak. Which Chrysler told my mechanic they couldn’t find the hose so we could replace it when we did the engine. This is the biggest piece of shit ever made.
106k and was all stock, when it first broke down. Dealership said it was my egr cooler leaking caused intake manifold to melt so I deleted egr and replaced intake manifold with banks. And was too late engine was already done for.
Yeah I did it, but I waited too long. Damage was already done. Still waiting for my new engine to be put in. The egr delete was pretty simple and comes with good instructions. the intake manifold requires a lot of patience no instructions and removing wire harness and fuel lines, and right side...
er
I had the same egr leak. Kept adding coolant trying to wait till power train warrenty was up and didn’t want to spend the 1500 on a new egr cooler that I was going to delete in a couple thousand miles. The egr system on these Trucks combined with the swirl valve intake manifold is a time...
Yeah that’s a problem, we don’t have those tests in Florida. Unfortunatly for me I waited too long to delete my egr and am currently having to buy an engine. I am 110% convinced that the egr system ruined this truck. The stock intake manifold is set up to completely shut off outside airflow when...
Yeah that's the problem, it is at the expense of longevity. We have the def shit on our tractors now. It's rediculous. And to fix my truck the dealer wanted 4300 for parts and labor and fully deleted everything my self for less than 3 grand. And don't have to worry about it failing again or my...
Haha I'll be on here but I did the same thing man waited for powertrain to run out and at 106k went into limp mode because egr cooler was leaking and melted my map sensor into my intake manifold.
No all miles were stock. And I have it most of the way back together now. Just have to reconnect wiring harness and fuel lines. But if you decide to do it and have questions I can help you out.
i finally got my stock intake manifold off to replace with banks intake manifold. The swirl valves were all stuck open and packed full of soot. There was so much soot in the engine idk how they expect this truck to last as a diesel should. I have 106k on mine and had I not done this delete I...
The egr cooler was pretty simple and had instructions online. They do say they don’t offer and instructions on the intake manifold, but I figured someone would have it on you tube and no luck lol. Guess I will just have to take a lot of pictures while taking the stock one off. I hit 100,000 back...
I didn’t enter until a leaking egr cooler caused my map sensor to burn into the stock plastic intake manifold. Dealer wanted 1700 for new stock one and banks was 750, and it’s cast.
anyone installed the banks intake manifold. Currently deleting everything and have been able to find install help on egr and exhaust but nothing on the intake manifold anywhere
