So I purchased my Ram in summer 2019, used to pull a 5k pound rv to Texas coast and New Mexico and Arizona. We live in Oklahoma. Received our settlement check and hit 96k miles. No issues with it I just became uncomfortable, waiting for the darn thing to blow up. Sold it Carmax for 21,600...
Just received a recall stating that the 2014 Ram 1500 tailgate that could open inadvertently. Anyone else get this recall? On a recent trip to Padre Island we drove almost 80 miles round trip on the beach. Coming back I noticed the tailgate was down and we lost some beach stuff.
Just purchased this vehicle and so far running great. I towed a 6k lb. rv to the Gulf, over 1k mile round trip and she worked like a champ. I did have the check engine light come on and then upon return (at work) it would not start, error message of transmission needs service traction control...
