Same happened to me on a 2015 Outdoorsman 90k. Ram knows these motors are a ticking time bomb on the crank bearings there are more and more failures each day. I will never buy a ram again and I will tell Everyone that they produce junk and like to lie and cheat their way out of warrenty like...

That quote is stupidly high. They have to remove the intake manifold to get to it not the cab . It should be around 1200 to replace.

Yes buy it. The emissions warranty doesn't cover crank bearings from what I read. I could be wrong. But my truck is awaiting to be diagnosed and I think it is crank bearings its a 2015 Outdoorsman 90,000 miles. I am trying to decide if I should keep it and wait a few years for a after market...

I have a 2015 just happened to me Saturday I think they replaced your motor cause they know they put crap out there knowing it was going to break.I also think they know there's going to be a class action lawsuit that's going to make them keep making motors long after they wanted to stop (2035)

Hell no. I didnt even reply to that stupid email GDE sent everyone wanting us to fill out something and send it back. I just deleted it. I emailed GDE . I learned along time ago never fill out nothing if it could be used against you.

I bought my truck new in may 15 put 12,000 miles on it then bought the GDE tune so it was in 2016 . Yes John is Right . I just know I tried update my ecm and when I called they told they couldnt so I send them a email telling them how I felt. Lol

Right . I live in California I think GDE stopped shipping to California in early 2016 so from that ponit in we were stuck with what we had .Other states could still get stuff shipped to them at that time.
