    Started Buyback

My question is if it's worth it to take the hit on the trade in value - which is offset by the $3075 settlement- and move on to a Hemi without the continuing problems of the ecodiesel.

2015 EGR Cooler to be replaced

David, you are so lucky to have gotten the EGR cooler before they went on backorder. I have a check engine light on for the past 4 months. The dealer replaced a hose at a cost of $1000 to me and I wonder if it was a completely unnecessary expense. I"ve read on this forum that if you accept the...

    Started Buyback

I'm curious too. I'll follow up on this thread when I find out. The dilemma is: cut and run with a trade-in as fast as possible, pursue a lengthy buyback process, or risk having the engine compartment catch fire until the correct part comes in. And even that may not fix the problem.

    FCA Buy Back?

I have the same exact issue. After the recall recalibration I have a check engine light that indicates I need a new EGR cooler which is not available nationwide. I called FCA and was told the part would be available in April. The dealer says he's had several eco-diesels sitting there for 2...

    Started Buyback

The dealer in Longmont, Colorado where I bought my 2015 Ecodiesel said that they would take it because the problem is theirs not mine. I have to bring it in and see what they will offer. Buyback sounds painful. Meanwhile I'm stuck with a check engine light and an EGR cooler part that isn't...

Unhappy with Performance after Emissions Recall Update

I'm glad I stumbled upon this forum because I wondered if my truck was just refusing to accelerate because of cold winter temps, but even on a warm day the lag is dangerous when pulling into traffic as others have noted. Between the update, the annoying regens one must do weekly, and the EGR...

    Settlement/ Recall/ Buy Back

Korsch, I was at the dealer yesterday and apparently there's a nationwide backorder on the EGR cooling module - I called the customer service line for Chrysler Fiat and the rep told me they're expecting them to be available to dealers by early April. When I pressed the service manager, he told...
