Tremper....thanks. I've done some further digging, and it turns out the bed side rails were changed for the 2020 trucks, so I'm not sure your divider would fit the current rails. No feet on the current divider, and it's hard to tell from the install manual whether it sits flush or not.
Guess...
Sounds like I'll skip it, unless there are adjustments to the feet. I don't have the Rambox either; according to the dealer, it's not needed for the divider, but the cargo management package (side rails with movable tie downs) is required, since the divider rides on those rails.
Thanks. If you...
My 14's sensor ring went out about 18 months ago. No warning, until it went, then technicolor dash (literally every light and warning message). Was still under powertrain warranty, and had en extended warranty as well. Dealer had it back to me in three days, mostly waiting for the parts to show...
As promised (and once the sun came out), pic of the new truck. It continues to impress me with mileage (21-22 city) and very low noise levels. Cap is from a local (Wisconsin) manufacturer, Lakeland Sports; it's my third from them, and all three have been great. Waiting for its Yakima gutter...
Wondering if anyone has one of these. I'd like to know how close the bottom of the divider extends to the floor of the truck bed. I'm thinking of getting a Bedrug impact mat (3/4" thick), and I'm wondering if the divider will clear it.
Thanks. Pix of the new truck soon, I promise.....
Yeah, Bookmaker, I noticed that...and deeper in the diesel supplement it specifies either MOPAR or Pennzoil Euro with the SN designator. Sigh. Like I said, I have a few months to consider the issue, so we'll see what changes the Fiat deities direct over that time. Thanks for the Valvoline tip...
Cracked open the 2 inch pile o' manuals (well...actually cranked up Adobe and opened the pdf's...), and inside the Diesel Supplement for the 2020 Ecodiesel reads the following:
"We recommend you use 5W-40 synthetic engine oil such as
Mopar or Shell Rotella that meets FCA Material Standard...
It may be too early for this question, but here goes: the oil specc'd by the owner's manual for my just acquired 2020 EcoD carries an API SN requirement. Local dealer showed me a quart of Pennzoil Euro Blend ("Made from Natural Gas"), and said this is what they've been told to use. I've got 10+...
Thanks for the welcome. Picked up the truck on Monday, scoring 6K in rebates, an 11% dealer discount, and getting 21.5 for my 14(84K miles). Dropped the payment by over $120/month, so spouse is even happier. Details: Longhorn Ecodiesel, Walnut Brown over Mountain Brown/Light Mountain Brown with...
Finally got around to registering this morning. Been driving a 2014 EcoD Longhorn since NOV 2014, 84K miles, some air suspension issues (resolved) and a crankshaft positioner failure (also resolved). Best long distance vehicle we've ever owned, hauls stuff too!
Got a call from my salesguy late...
