Well, after a 5 weeks now sitting disassembled in a shop, Alpha warranty finally gave the green light on replacing the motor. Tried to get a used one to no avail so now have ordered a re-man.
Said 2 weeks to get it.
At least we are moving forward instead of stagnant! Oh, FYI they only authorize...

Engine failure at 88K on a 2016 Ram. started tapping then went to hard knocking for just a couple minutes, seized and wont turn over. At the shop now being torn down but hopefully hear back today on the diagnosis. I have an Alpha Priority One warranty-, having just bought the truck back in April...
