Hey all!
I have owned many trucks in my life but never a Dodge. Recently bought a new boat and wanted something newer than what I currently own and became fascinated by the idea of an "Ecodiesel" for the gas mileage. Found one advertised by an old fellow, a 2015 with only 55k on it. Said he was selling due to his wife having fallen twice getting out of this one. He was desperate as he still owed quite a bit on it, had sale fall through, and had just bought a brand new Subaru Forrester. He was asking $21k for it and I offered him $18k for it. He accepted. I soon found out about the recall and lawsuit, my only concern with the vehicle was the occasional "dead" throttle, usually when it was cold.
Just had the ECM and program flash done after waiting 2 weeks for the ECM to come in. I live in the Mountains north of Boise and I have really been pleased with the MPG of this truck. Even having to cross a pretty decent pass going to and from Boise, I have been getting 24-26 mpg. 26.4 has been my best tank so far. I have no doubt I could get 30 mpg if I was simply driving on the flats.
I'm really hoping that the re-flash of the PCM does not decrease my MPG or performance. Glad to have found this forum and look forward to learning a lot from it!

Welcome, best wishes, I've got a 17. The best I have seen is 28+, average is 23-24, still not bad for a pickemup truck.
