Hello, hope someone can help me with my climate control not working.
While driving from NJ to FL my AC control led started flashing along with defrost, AC, and others and my AC stopped working. This happen a few times where I pressed on climate and would turn back on as if nothing was wrong. however, after turning on a few times, it then stopped working all together. Now the AC or auto doesn't come on and I have no AC (it's in the 90s here). Everything else seems to be working except for anything to do with climate and defrost.

I was able to get the body computer codes. Here is what I have:
u0002, u0164, p1009, u0147, u0011, b17fb.

After resetting the codes, i'm now down to two: U0164 and P1009.

I have disconnected the battery for 30 minutes multiple times, I had my battery tested, I have tried a different HVAC control module without success.

Anyone have any idea on the possible cause or how to troubleshoot this problem?

I had a very similar problem with mine. I called the dealer. They said when the battery voltage gets low it somehow screws with the controls. My battery read 11.8 volts. It was 5 years old. I checked it myself. Drove to the dealer and had the replace the battery. Everything went back to normal as before. Crazy how low voltage can effect the new sensative electrical components.

I'm running out of options and it looks like I may be doing the same thing.

Thank you from the reply.

The battery was a Mopar battery from the dealer. They said it will last a good five years like the original. Comparing it to the parts houses, you will come off better with a deal battery when you consider the length of warranty.

just came back from the dealer and they are telling me the battery is still in good shape, over 800 cranks and at 12.5 v.
They are also thinking HVAC control module but they can't get my truck in until late next week so, I guess i'll be driving back to NJ without air.

You will get a good reading just after you drive it. Freshly charged from the alternator. Let it sit overnight then get your multimeter out in the morning and check it. It will not have to the same reading in the morning if it is going bad. I'm not saying it is the case with yours but it will completely eliminate one avenue. A battery is a few hundred. They probably want to sell you a whole new controller/unit. $$$$ Whatever it is call. I have a great dealer, most I would not trust.
