Been reading posts since December, same amount of time my truck has been at dealer awaiting the EGR cooler. Dealer called yesterday to say they have part number for the recalled EGR cooler. I am currently entertaining the idea of getting a pool together to see what happens first the part arriving or COVID-19 restrictions being lifted.

Thank you all for posting your experiences.

My vehicle sat for an EGR cooler for two months. The coolant smell is still a problem hopefully they can replace it with another EGR cooler when I bring it back in again. I hear there was a new EGR part. It’s probably the AEM software update that is causing this issue for the coolant leaks. Remind the dealer to update the latest software for the AEM. The dealers play stupid.

Called my dealer yesterday. They knew of the EGR recall but claimed no info on the AEM update. Dealer is waiting for EGR parts. WIll notify me by mail when parts arrive. Did not know when that would be. It is just a waiting game.
