2016 echodiesel tuning issues.

Hello i did the dpf and cat delete pipe on my truck and got in touch with a tuner. He sent me the auto agent 3 out to install the tune but i haven't been able to upload it to truck. Hes now saying i need a bypass cable but i cant find any info on needing it for a 2016 has anyone else ran into this? Thank you for your help
