My Laramie 4x4 has 4 buttons to select which your drive choice. I understand 2w, 4wd low, 4wd, 4wd lock. 4wd Lock is what I am confused about. Does it actually let all 4 wheels pull at the same time?

No. It's just 4wd high range. Auto 4wd senses front wheel slippage and applies force, whereas 4wd lock always has a front wheel pulling.
