Looks like a fuel injection quantity (volume) insufficient, remedied by injector replacement according to my search. Could run some Lucas or a cleaner through and see what you get. How is your fuel filter?
Im new to diesels so didn't realize the filter is fairly short interval. Our EcoD truck blew the engine at <30K miles so they changed the filters, oil, coolant etc when the engine went in. That's the way to do it
