I put the original GDE tune on my 2018 3 months after I got it, I had already put 10k miles on it, mostly highway driving. When the EPA compliant tune came out I switched over to it at about 35k and I am now at 51k. The only issues I've had were the EGR recall and a glow plug replaced under warranty. I don't recall seeing any stories of tuned EcoDiesels having failed engines. Any tuners have engine failure or have a link to someone that says they had tuned but still had a failure?
