Automatic Headlights not dimming

Hello All, I have a 2017 Laramie ecd with auto dimming Headlights.
They worked fine until now, they don't switch to dim when a vehicle is oncoming. They do switch to dim when I slow down (roughly 20km/hr).
I looked for the fuse but the fuse diagram pointed to a vacant spot in the fuse block.
I wiped the sensor behind the rear view mirror as well.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Update, it was the windshield... Although it wasn't cracked it was quite pitted and when I changed it, the auto dimming was working again...
