I just purchased a 2014 eco diesel it can get cold here during the winter months and past knowledge of diesels is that they dont start in cold wether but i do know they have started bypassing this in newer vehicles and was wandering how this will do or if i need to buy a cord for it. Thanks.

The element is in the block right side. Add the cord and use it as you desire.
