Driving on 25N to FoCo in traffic, heard odd sounds so turned off the music to hear it. Traffic started, I accelerated and the engine shifted to neutral and oil pressure dropped to zero, leaving an oil slick behind as I coasted to the shoulder. Towed to a dealership where they said a rod blew out the side. I bought it used in 2017 with 30K miles, now have ~80K...7 year ended in January. Since this is a common occurrence, is there any recourse? Recall? Extended warranty? What to do next...
