Blue def fluid sensor

I just did the update for my 2014 and the blue def sensor is sending erratic messages to the computer. Now my check engine light is on. Can I unplug it and reset it myself. Or do I havo take it to the dealership?

if the sensor is reading incorrectly 99%of the time it is time for a tank sensor not replaceable at a cost of 2500.00

it may b guaranteed with the extended warranty they have a list posted on here what is warrantied
but there isn't any thing cheap on these pieces of crap some have no problems others r plaged with problems
